Recalling all the Christmas crafts I’ve made in the past, 2 among a good number of them are poinsettia this is the 3rd poinsettia I have made. I crochet a poinsettia coasters with yo-yo puff in year 2010, and a made a bunch of fabric poinsettias in 2011. What happened to 2012? Why did I skip making poinsettia in 2012?? Oh… I was busy with quilting and never did any poinsettia, I just used the fabric poinsettias for the holiday decor since they were well kept and still in good condition… what a good excuse 
These crochet poinsettia napkin rings are easy to adapt into other embellishment, you may add a brooch pin instead of the band of the napkin ring to make a poinsettia brooch, likewise, you can add a hair band and turn it into hair accessories. You can even make a bigger poinsettia by using yarn, starched it a little and hang on the tree, frame it up to be a Christmas decor, etc….. Change the color of the yarn or lace thread, you will end up with a different flower to suit your occasion, for example: white, gold, silver, for a wedding event.
